Wine Bloggers Conference

Hi Wine Friends! I’ve been sitting on the sidelines for some time thinking, pondering and spinning my wheels trying to decide whether I wanted to go to my first Wine Bloggers Conference this year. In years past when I had a very active wine blog I watched with interest those writer friends of mine heading off to interesting places to chat up all things wine. This year the conference is in my own back yard in the lovely town of Walla Walla, one of those new wine regions gaining more and more attention.

So I popped the cork (sounds better than bit the bullet) and registered for the conference this morning, booked a cheap-o hotel, and am ramping up my excitement as I plan for a few days in Walla Walla. It’ll be interesting to learn more about wine writing, get to know this community of wine geeks, maybe interview one or two of them, and get my wine podcast set to blast off.

My expectations are modest but I’m hopeful to meet fun and interesting people here, maybe sip a little wine, and learn a thing or two.

If you’re a wine writer, blogger, podcaster or simply a wine geek I’d love to connect with you in Walla Walla. Drop me a note or say hi if you see me there and maybe we can even do a brief interview.

Cheers, Brad
